Hey Solos,
I’m a stubborn and stressed solopreneur in her early 50’s, trying to figure out how to create a sane solo work environment that moves my body, mind and soul.
In this newsletter and it’s accompanying podcast I’ll be sharing thoughts, movements and more that help me. I’m clearly NOT a doctor, mental health or nutrition expert and as such are not claiming that these experiences are ones you should do yourself.
In posting these experiences/experiments I hope to encourage you to find ways to make your solo worklife more enjoyable. Working solo doesn’t mean we have to be stagnant, right?
Let’s get started!
Podcast episode 5: acceptance (with imposter syndrome)
Are we really professional if we're in yoga pants all day? Can we meet our client's needs or are we faking it til we make it? These and more are all common imposter syndrome questions that float around us during our daily solo worklife. Let's quiet these down, shall we?
“It's hard to take courage
In a world full of people
You can lose sight of it all
The darkness inside you
Can make you feel so small
…I see your true colors
Shining through
I see your true colors
And that's why I love you”
-Cyndi Lauper, True Colors, 1986
